This is the latest system from Rich Allen (he of Sports Betting Professor fame).
The system costs a one-off payment of $147 USD (currently) – approx £105 (GBP) and payment is made via Clickbank who are well known for their good refund policy.
This payment provides you with 3 system parts :
i) The 49 page Horse Betting Professor manual in PDF format.
ii) A 2 page Hot Sheet PDF document
iii) A years worth of tips sent to your email address.
On attempting to pay the $147, you are immediately hit with an up-sell for the ‘Platinum Package’ which gives you a lifetime’s supply of tips and updates to the Hot Sheet – this is for a one-off payment of $497 USD (approx £358.71 GBP).
I will go through the 3 system parts as listed below :
i) The 49 page Horse Betting Professor manual in PDF format.
Pages 1-7 are primarily fluff with an introduction sandwiched in-between.
Pages 8-10 discuss when you will receive the tips, what type of odds the system works at (this is a ‘value’ system, not a ‘favourites’ system) and what type of bets are favoured (each-way and 5 other forecast type bets).
Pages 11-18 discuss the Daily Racing Form website and how to use it for rating horses.
Pages 19-22 discuss the 14 different types of ratings that can be applied to rate a horse
Page 23 contains information about calculating advanced ratings
Page 24 is a summary.
Pages 25-47 are a comprehensive glossary of race associated terms.
Pages 48-49 are blank

A list of promising horses to follow over 2 race courses compiled during the period May 30th to June 20th graded between 0 and 2 stars.
iii) A years worth of tips sent to your email address.
Normally emailed daily between Wednesday and Sunday, a list of horses that have already been rated for you. . Selections are provided for every race at a chosen meeting and this does go against the grain as selections will be received for races that don’t qualify as per the manual’s instructions.
There can be between 1 and 4 selections per race. Remember these are value bets and won’t feature the favourite if the favourite is below the minimum odds this system works at.
The first named selection you are advised to bet each-way, the rest are recommended to consider for the forecast bet types.
Have I any issues with the system?
Unfortunately, there is one big stumbling block not mentioned in the advertising blurb on the sales website.
In order to rate horses yourself using information contained you will need access to the Daily Rating Form website (DRF). This is what I think of as the US equivalent of the UK’s Racing Post website – a treasure trove of facts and figures.
Unfortunately, you have to pay for this information, which, as I said before, is not mentioned in the advertising on the sales website. Looking at an unlimited annual package for the DRF (which offers the best value overall), this will either cost you $995 USD (approx £721 GBP) for the basic package or $1249.95 (£902.15 GBP) for the deluxe package. I am unsure (still investigating) what package is actually required, but this amount of money as an extra is in my view unacceptable.
I emailed The Commissioner on this point, and he in turn contacted Rich Allen who had this reply :
Hey James,
The DRF is I believe the equivalent of a racing post. It has all the information of past performances from races, etc. I don’t know how you could even think of placing a bet without it. Yes, it’s an added expense but if you bet horses at all you would probably be getting this type of information (I hope) anyways.

I will leave it to you constables to form your own view on this matter, but as it stands, you will not be able to rate horses yourself using the manual’s advice unless you stump up a large chunk of further cash. This means you will be reliant on the tips only.
Another point that bugs me is that the manual plugs (twice) that tips (only) can be received (and paid for) on a monthly basis, and a link is provided where you can pay $29 USD (approx £20 GBP) for the first month and then $47 USD (approx £33 GBP) monthly thereafter. This cross-sell is unnecessary to people using the system/tips in their first year as tips are free for this first year.
How will I review the system/tips?
I am unable to review the system of rating horses. The extra cost of the DRF makes it unfeasible for me to do so.
So I will be concentrating on the tips only. The manual suggests betting the first-named selection for each race each-way only, so I will do that. I will also look at the possibility of the more exotic forecast type bets and what kind of return these might have provided.
So, an introduction summary…
This system allows you to rate horses if you are prepared to pay extra to access the DRF. If not, then you still get a year’s worth supply of tips (which would be the end product if you had rated the races yourself, I guess).
The tips give you a recommended each-way bet opportunity for each race and the potential to dutch some races to win more lucrative forecast bets. The tips provided are ‘value’ tips and are all greater than odds specified in the manual. This means that any horse under these particular odds is outside the scope of these selections.
I am still going through some previous tips emails to see how the system has fared recently. I intend to give it another afternoon of ‘system revision’. My first review post will therefore be this Wednesday 9th June.

False Favourites review
They sound great in principle but rarely fill your bank account. In the real world things just aren't like that.
Well, according to Jonathon Burgess, an accredited Betfair trainer, this is the type of outcome the horse racing industry expects. If they hype up the right type of horse, they can get untold amounts of profit. The public won’t know any different because on paper the horse appears to be a solid winner.
False Favourites is at less than ($41) one of the least expensive systems on the market today but it is one of the best. The first point that strikes you about this e-book is its sheer size with 216 packed pages.
Right from the word go, Jonathan makes sure you are aware this is no walk in the park, you won’t retire overnight, in fact the results on Jonathan’s website show he is making around 10-15 points profit per month, not an outrageous claim by any means. So with L50 stakes you’d be profiting by L500 - L750, L100 stakes you’d be banking L1000 - L1500 a month. I think this is one of the reasons I really admire Jonathan, he is totally upfront, he won’t insult your intelligence with ridiculous claims and hype. What he is offering you is the chance to learn how to make a consistent and relatively safe income by betting on horses to lose.
Of course, don’t be mistaken by the e-book’s title. Indeed, Burgess is not encouraging you to bet on losing horses. Instead, he is teaching how you can determine the worthiness of a false favourite in a particular situation. If a false favourite truly fits its namesake, Burgess will then show you other strategies you can use for making a better selection. The horses in this new selection will be far from losers, but they won’t necessarily be avid ‘winners’, at least in the eyes of the media.
We are not absolutely certain that False Favourites can be truly classed as a horse racing "system" it is more a selection method. The difference between these two definitions is a fine one but in most racing systems the rules you look for 3 or 4 factors and if they apply you have a bet or lay. In False Favourites the basic idea is to find favourites who have more negative factors than the competition.
This is not a "get rich overnight" scheme but if you are looking for a method that allows you to consistently profit from horse racing and the Exchanges you can do a loot worse than get a copy of False Favourites.
Definitely worth paying money for and in my opinion a long term winner.

Well before I start it is unlikely that I would ever give 5 stars to any system or service as far as I am concerned there is no such thing as a perfect system or service this is my own personal opinion and I would be happy if one day I was proved to be wrong but somehow I doubt it. But I believe there is some very good systems or services but you just have to really search for it and I believe this is one of them.
How do I rate Betfair Miracle simply put four stars out of five, why because it delivers what it says on the tin and that is why I recommend it. Will it make you a instant fortune No, will it make you steady profits without giving you high blood Yes, is it short term No , is it long term Yes. Now the regular blogger’s should know me by now I will obviously be backing this up with some facts and figures, also I want to say that the author provided good customer service and only one e-mail went a stray during the 90 day trial this was due to a main computer problem. Not that you actually need the e-mail but it is provided free for the 21 days once you buy the system along with spreadsheets.

Betfair ATM Review
We are looking at the in-play place markets with a minimum odds of 1.3 to place a straight bet so with odds so low you would need to achieve a very high strike rate in the high 80% bracket to make it pay. I made a profit of £ 85.93 over my trial using a £ 10 fixed stake but I am sure I could have made much more as this is based on very few races each day over the trial period but on the flip side would have made much less if I hadn’t of used the unmentioned stop losses.
If I am perfectly honest and although I found the strategy to work and also based on the opinions of my fellow bloggers we found it to be a little knife edged in so much as you have a very small window of opportunity to place your bets depending on the outlined in-play criteria.
The ebook is reasonably well detailed but only really skirts over the ideal point in which to place your bets and is something that you can only really learn if watching the markets but you do need to know when as this criteria can often have a wide margin of availability throughout the race but contains a precise moment of closure for the actual bet.
Michael does offer additional training which isn’t that cheap and goes into some of the stop loss details which I personally think should be in the manual from the beginning. I have been using the stop losses because it is a natural trading reaction and am aware it is somewhat unfair to the test if the manual doesn’t point this out but as I was using my own money I could be forgiven but you do get the point I am making.
Email support is always available which I think, due to the lack of this finer detail, is a must and had to ask a few question myself about this point of the strategy in the beginning but all in all it is a reasonably solid package that can make money.
If I gave it a star rating I would just about give it a 3.5 out of 5 but for the purposes of the blog and the fact that it does make money and is a process that the more the do the better you can get I would have to advise for this to go into the approved category.
A betting bot has been mentioned and even used on another test elsewhere but as there is no mention of this and/or no comercial availability or standardised settings then this in my opinion is not a true representation of results but I am sure one could be sorted out but that is another chapter you would have to take up with the author.
I nearly forgot to mention that this is ideally suited to N.Hunt racing as it is a slower and more predictable pace in the markets and flat racing, especially the sprints, take a little more experience as these can be a bit fast and furious on the in-play betting side and over in a jiffy and the in-play bet delay can leave you hanging out to dry if you are not careful.
The Favourites Phenomenon Review
The favourites phenomenon system was created by a guy called Matt Watson who released it to the general public earlier this year. I have been testing it for the last few months which is plenty long enough to give an unbiased and accurate review.
Regular visitors to my website know how much I hate stop at a winner systems with progressive staking plans which is what the favourites phenomenon system basically is. I found this system a lot different however because the system itself is based on solid statistics but more importantly the staking plan has safe guards built in which normal stop at a winner systems fail to implement.
As the system suggests you will be backing certain favorites so you will need to monitor the live betting markets if you are to use the system correctly. You will need to commit around 30 – 45 minutes of your time before racing starts to work out if you should be betting or not on any particular day as the rules suggest. If it is a betting day you will also need to commit anything from a few minutes up to several hours depending how the system performs and how quickly a winner is found.
The staking plan has three levels and it is suggested you begin with level one. The aim of all three staking plans is to make a profit of 1 point each day.
You can potentially win more money using level three as the strike rate is much higher but the losses are much bigger and one losing day can mean a loss of 30 points which is 30 days profits. The maximum loss on level one is 8 points or 8 days profits and the maximum loss on level two is 15 points or 15 days profits. Once you choose a level it is suggested you stick with that level for at least 3 months before changing.
The recommended bank to start is 100 points for level one, 150 points for level two and 200 points for level three. If you plan to try and win £10 per day then a bank of £1000 is required to start using the system on level one.
When you purchase the system you don’t actually receive a download as you normally do with other systems. You do however gain access to Matt’s members area which contains all that is required to get you started and loads more.

As part of the FP product you also receive a staking calculator to help you generate how much you are placing on each horse as the racing day continues. It comes complete with instructions on how to use it and apply it to your own money management.
I tested the system using level three with a starting bank of £2000 as advised and the aim of winning £10 per day. During my 60 days of testing I had 7 no bet days but on the days it was recommend to bet I never had a losing day and made a profit of £530 overall.
When it comes to customer service matt is very good at answering emails and is extremely helpful. He also offers a 12 month no quibble money back guarantee.
To sum things up I think Matt is professional in his approach and very motivated to help others win using his system. You can expect very regular wins and your bank should slowly but surely grow if past statistics can be relied upon fully. The problem is that just because something has happened in the past doesn’t mean it will happen in the future. That said I would advise users to have a bank you are prepared to lose. As soon as your bank doubles withdraw your initial bank and start again risk free. You must also follow the rules to the letter without deviating in anyway which takes a huge amount of discipline.
And finally…
Matt has just introduced a new bot which can automate the system but I have had a lot of reports of teething problems with this and I feel I should warn everyone. I am not a fan of bots for this type of system full stop. In theory it sounds great that you can set the bot and go to work letting it do all the work for you. What happens if your PC crashes? What happens if your electric turns off? I would personally stick to the manual way or use the bot under close supervision at all times to avoid the above.
Definitely worth paying money for and in my opinion a long term winner.
The Place Lay Formula Review
The Place Lay Formula or even “Michael’s” Place Lay Formula, is a system designed to lay certain horses in the place market on Betfair. The manual is the usual PDF format guide, and is 32 pages long. Fortunately, the content is not spoilt by padding it out with how to use Betfair etc.
So, the system itself takes you through approximately 8 or so steps to find your selections. On an average day after applying the prescribed filters, you are usually left with 2 – 3 lay bets at prices of between 3.8 – 4.5. Now remember, this is laying in the place market not the win market on Betfair.
Another insight given by the manual, is the use of a bot called ‘Fairbot’. A free trial download of this bot can be obtained, and what a good little piece of software this is. It may not have all the bells and whistles that other more well known products have, but this is a nice simple starter bot, that does the job for this system really well.
Back to the guide, there are a number of clear examples of how to pick your losers. A good selection of screen shots along with narrative ensures that the reader fully understands the systems concept.
From the trials I have conducted, I am confident that this is a sound system. The results page on the website is updated at regular intervals, and give or take one or two selections, which could be down to pure personal preference, all appeared to correspond with my own selections, so no apparent misleading of figures here.
So to sum up, a good system, that does require you to follow the live markets just before the off, and does benefit from the use of Fairbot, although this is not essential, as all required details can be obtained from Betfair itself.
Not 100% mechanical, as at times there may be an element of personal preference but overall a well thought out and logical system that should be added to all betting portfolios.
Definitely worth paying money for and in my opinion a long term winner.
